Full course description
The At-Risk Afterschool Meals component of CACFP, provides healthy foods that can be served to children and teenagers who participate in afterschool programs in low-income areas. The Child and Adult Care Food Program is a federally funded, state-administered program that provides funding to those organizations. This training is going to provide the learner with an insight into the requirements needed to apply for the program and the necessary documentation to be federally reimbursed. The training will not go in-depth into meal pattern requirements. There is a separate online training for the meal pattern requirements. If you are taking this course for application renewal or new to the program this course taken without At-Risk Afterschool Meal Patterns will not be approved.
