Full course description
The At-Risk Afterschool Meals program is an after-school program that is part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The program is designed to give children and teenagers the nutrition they need, and draw them into constructive activities that are safe, fun, and filled with opportunities for learning. The Child and Adult Care Food Program is a federally funded, state-administered program that provides funding for good nutrition. This training is going to provide the learner with an insight into the requirements needed to be on the program and the necessary documentation to be federally reimbursed.
