Under an agreement with the State Agency, school food authorities (SFAs) are responsible for operating the school nutrition programs in schools. To help with this responsibility an SFA may contract with a Food Service Management Company (FSMC), to manage the food service operation in part or all the programs in one or all schools. One of the requirements of a Food Service Management Company is to submit an Attachment M. Attachment M shows the amount a district pays to the FSMC. This training will go over in detail the various parts of this mandatory form and explain where the information is found.
