Buy American Provision FY2026

The Buy American Provision requires school food authorities to purchase, to the maximum extent practical, domestic commodities or products. The rule strengthens the School Meals Programs’ Buy American provision. The mission of child nutrition programs is to serve children nutritious meals and support American agriculture. This training will go over the provision requirements and the tools that are available for tracking purchases.
