OKMTSS Tier I Behavior for the Classroom/Teacher

This module introduces the essential components of Tier I behavioral supports within an MTSS framework and demonstrates how universal practices create a positive, predictable classroom climate. Participants will explore effective classroom management systems, analyze real examples of Tier I implementation, and learn how reinforcement, encouragement, and behavioral principles shape student behavior. Through guided practice, they will design equitable classwide acknowledgment systems and apply behavioral concepts to authentic classroom scenarios. By the end of the module, educators will be equipped to evaluate their Tier I systems using data and reflection to strengthen proactive, supportive learning environments.
