Self-paced
6 credits
Instructor: Benjamin Taylor
Full course description
This course introduces participants to the essential components of Tier II behavioral supports within a Multi‑Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework. Learners will explore how Tier II interventions differ from Tier I and Tier III, and how to assess readiness for implementation through fidelity tools such as the Tiered Fidelity Inventory. The course emphasizes collaborative teamwork, data‑based decision‑making, and the Team‑Initiated Problem Solving (TIPS) model to design and monitor effective interventions. By the end, participants will be equipped to evaluate, plan, and refine Tier II systems that strengthen school‑wide behavioral support.
