| Procurement is another word for purchasing. If an institution is procuring goods and services for child nutrition programs, it must determine whether they are required to use an informal or formal procurement method. It is important to understand and then identify which method best meets the needs of the individual operation. This training will go over the various methods of procuring goods and services. It will also explain the USDA requirements and steps that need to be followed when using child nutrition funds.
