The purpose of this course is to:

• Increase knowledge of the secondary transition requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
• Identify when transition services must be in effect in Oklahoma
• Understand the difference between a postsecondary goal and an annual transition goal
• Understand the importance of self-determination
