The Summer Food Service Program, also known as the Summer Meals Program, was started to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. The program provides free meals to children in low-income areas when school is out. This training will go over the guidelines and responsibilities that are required to be on this USDA program to receive financial reimbursement for the meals that are served.
