Verification Process for Schools FY2025

All School Food Authorities (SFA) collecting household applications at the beginning of the school year must do verification. An SFA counts the number of new school applications on file as of October 1, 2024. A district's carryover applications are not included in this count. The calculation of the total number of applications for verification will depend on the verification method used. This training is designed to explain the various ways to complete this USDA-required process that must be finalized and submitted to the State Agency by November 15th, 2024.
